i know two guys who were falsely accused of hitting their wives. after the husbands were cuffed and hauled away,the women admitted to lying about being hit. it was too late. hubby was on their way to the station. one guy lost his job because of it. he divorced her for that. the other guy lost some customers from his business. later they too, got divorced. these were big guys too. if they did hit their wives,it wouldve been noticable right away. one woman threw herself down the stairs for bruises. it was obvious. she was later arrested for drunk and disorderly.
men get the "shaft" on this. and also if theres a woman judge during a divorce,men are screwed too. most of the time the guy has to leave his domain,pay the mortgage,child support and alimony. all the while paying rent for themselves and their other bills. wheres the justice? i know only a few cases where the guy has custody. for the most part,its women.

that sucks for sure, but it's the exception not the rule. the fact remains that 99% of women who claim they had the shit beaten out of them by their husband DID have the shit beaten out of them by their husbands

not these two guys. one is to mild tempered. hes 6'2 and like 280 lbs. big fucker. if he was to,hed break her face. (anyones for that fact)

(give or take a few but close). it wasnt the first the cops dealt with her,just thefirst time she admitted she lied. my friends got screwed because of that shit. got fined had to attend anger mgmt classes and probation. all over a lie. these women admitted to lying and still these guys got the screws!
the system for men is broken. ok, in the past men beat up women. these laws seemed to be for them times. times have changed since then. so should the "rules". its a diffrent society. women are more apt to fight back and be more aggressive in general.

I think that there is a slight misconception about what "feminism" really is....

The stereotypical feminism that is being addressed in this thread, I am 100% against it. In college I constantly refused to take feminism classes cause I didn't wanna hear all the male bashing vagina power blah blah bullshit. BUT I was forced eventually to take a feminism class in order to graduate. I had no choice.

To my surprise, it was NOT about glorifying women, but about respecting all genders; males, females, and those who choose to classify as neither. There were women in my class who WANTED to make the class all about bashing males and glorifying women and those women were discouraged from participating when they acted like that (thank god)

I also found out that this new kind of feminism is MUCH more common in universities than the male bashing bra burning kind that most people immediately think of, and that while those courses still do exist in some colleges that poison women's minds with the old version of feminism, they're quickly being filtered out and replaced because as an academic discipline, feminism is viewed as old fashioned and slightly archaic, and most universities would rather just have "gender studies" than feminism.

And yeah I also agree with the earlier statement that women acting ridiculous definitely leads to the apprehension in men and the desire to NOT be chivalrous. But I think in turn then the women just act more ridiculous and it's just a cycle of each gender belittling each other. Which I definitely don't participate in, cause I get along with guys WAY more than I do girls.
