Ai stems from the brain of humans, and the latter will always be the master. The human brain is a living organism, while the Ai is nothing but a huge pile of code, essentially dead. Human life is not ruled by death.
(On a side note, but related: when the camera was invented.... artists panicked... : Now no one will paint, we are robbed of our income!!!!" - nothing of the sort happened, instead painting evolved in more interesting ways.)
