I was hit by a car that blew through a stop sign while on a bicycle when I was a kid. I flew across the street like a rag doll and rolled a few times. I got right up like nothing happened. People around asking if I was okay and I felt fine...for a minute or two. Adrenaline is crazy. Ended up in the hospital for 2 days.

Happened to me. Pillion on the back of a friend's Kawasaki. Some cunt went through the red light and I somersaulted in the air onto the footpath. Got up and walked away. My friend's arm was fucked.
