So this guy, person, suicide bomber, whatever it was...walked into an area and blew himself up.

Bang! Ka-Boom! Ignition! Just like that- but someone forgot to tell him that there was no one around when he pushed the button.

Another bomber, however, did manage to explode and kill dozens of people in what officials believe was a co-ordinated attack.

I read once they often lie to the jihadis, particularly young boys, that when they back-pack the explosives in the blast will send them flying forwards flinging them from harm to encourage them and lesson the fear about the operation they are about to undertake. Given they probably face certain death anyway if they refuse. Horrible situation over there
