At approximately 6:50 pm, a serious multi vehicle chain traffic accident occurred on Nguyen Chanh Street in Yen Hoa Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi. A white Toyota Yaris with license plate number 30A-536xx was traveling at high speed when the driver lost control, crashing into multiple motorcycles and vehicles over a stretch of about 200 meters. The crash damaged at least six cars and four motorcycles and left at least four people injured, one of whom was seriously injured. The driver did not stop after the initial collisions and continued driving, causing further collisions. Police tested the driver's blood alcohol level, which was 0.264 mg/L, exceeding the legal limit. Authorities are still investigating.
