games Rockstar being threatened with litigation by the 'Florida Joker'. Hilarity ensues.

Just give the guy the cash let him have some fun why so serious?
Considering that development of the game began roughly ten years ago and this guy didn't become "famous" until just a few years ago, I'm gonna say that Rockstar might pay him some shut-the-fuck-up-and-go-away money just to be done with it.

I'm pretty sure he'd settle for a gift certificate good for a year's supply of White Castle and a couple of cases of Old English malt liquor. Maybe they'll throw in some condoms to prevent this retard from reproducing.

Remember watching a Dank Net video on him several years ago. I'm surprised he's still alive
As much as I hate to see some retard like this scoop up some free cash, he might actually have a valid case. I'm predicting they'll offer him some lowball cash offer with the stipulation that it's a one-time deal with a non-disclosure agreement.

Rockstar has a team of lawyers, so it would cost them millions in fees long before they ever see a courtroom.

If this guy has any brains, he'll stand firm on at least a million bucks and be grateful if they give it to him.

I think the guy The Simpsons ripped off had a better case and guess what, he lost.

This article explains better than I can why Frank Silvero's case was dismissed as frivolous.

I think this joker dude and the Simpsons case aren't even remotely similar.

It's one thing to draw a cartoon caricature of a celebrity, which has been done for ages.

But to take a man's mugshot photo and digitally scan it into a computer and then render it into CG animation is a completely different thing.

Not to mention that the Simpson's vs Silvero case was in California jurisdiction.

If this guy's case goes to court, it will be in the jurisdiction of Florida. I'm not sure how much of a difference that will make, but it might.

I'm willing to bet that Rockstar will pay him something just to shut him up. It's cheaper. Just for their legal team to have a single meeting over this will cost them a couple of million.

There's no way to know for sure, because IF they pay him it will certainly be kept confidential.
