On Saturday, President Donald Trump commented about Chicago crime and Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker on his Truth Social site: “Six people were killed, and 24 people were shot, in Chicago last weekend, and JB Pritzker, the weak and pathetic Governor of Illinois, just said that he doesn’t need help in preventing CRIME. He is CRAZY!!! He better straighten it out, FAST, or we’re coming! MAGA. President DJT”

I'm not American, so no real commentary here that wouldn't otherwise obviously be highly triggering. There will be more such statements as those in these vids from the White House and maybe eventually from the streets in DC (been there once) and ofcourse a ton of videos made by who-ever commentors (I added one of those).

Things are changing, in the great ol' USA...and folks will have much, or nothing, to say, depending on where they lean. I lean against a wall and watch.

I don't think Trump has been 'radical' at all, in fact he's simply been doing what many leaders around the world have been doing for decades responding to crime levels and trying to remedy a fractured system from total collapse. It only appears radical when you compare it to the previous government's lack of care or willingness to consider American citizens a priority. If you take away the buzz word name-calling and personal insults, Trump is actually quite a moderate common sense President. It's a shame all the crazy smoke and mirror propaganda had to ruin so many of the good intentions. It's like pointlessly stabbing holes in a tyre that someone is trying to put air into for the betterment of everyone getting to their destination - it's unjustified hysterics over an 'orange man bad' myth.

They can’t breath…they need Trumpo’s goons to clean up the streets of…all those black lives that matter when there are high on fentanyl that came in through the Nexican border. Or maybe just get rid of the Latino looking people? Who knows. Can’t wait for Georgia and W Virginia to be on the List. Lots of red necks need be taken out back of the barn.

ICE crackdowns intensify across Boston as sanctuary cities face Trump’s latest operation

BOSTON (AP) — “Immigrants are being detained while going to work, outside courthouses, and at store parking lots in Metro Boston as President Donald Trump targets so-called sanctuary cities in his effort to ramp up immigration enforcement.

As families hole up in homes — afraid to leave and risk detainment — advocates are reporting an increased presence of unmarked U.S.

One man captured a video of three landscapers who were working on the Saugus Town Hall property being arrested after agents smashed their truck window.

Just north of Boston, the city of Everett canceled its annual Hispanic Heritage Month festival after its mayor said it wouldn’t be right to “hold a celebration at a time when community members may not feel safe attending.”

The actions have been praised by public officials like New Hampshire Republican Gov. Kelly Ayotte, who signed legislation this year banning sanctuary city policies in her state, vowing not to let New Hampshire “go the way of Massachusetts.”

ICE this summer began utilizing a New Hampshire airport about an hour from Boston to transport New England detainees.

However, others argue that ICE’s presence in Massachusetts is doing more harm than good.

Cities like Boston and Chicago — where Mayor Brandon Johnson has also condemned the Trump administration’s recent immigration crackdown, calling it an example of “tyranny” — have become targets for enforcement in recent days. Trump also threatened to potentially deploy the National Guard to Chicago, though he had wavered on a military deployment last week.

The U.S. Department of Justice on Sept. 4 filed a lawsuit against Mayor Michelle Wu, the city of Boston and its police department over its sanctuary city policies, claiming they’re interfering with immigration enforcement. In response, Wu accused Trump of “attacking cities to hide his administration’s failures.”” AP
