The BBC is like Australia's ABC, full of woke activists. I note how they hate to use the word terrorist as indicated by their use of inverted commas. ABC continues to refer to Hamas not as terrorists but as 'armed militia'.

ABC also, for some God known reason, always uses the Turkish spelling for the country Turkey. As in: Türkiye.
This is not carried over for other countries, so Germany is not Deutschland, etc etc.

Military service is compulsory for able-bodied female citizens. Married women, mothers, pregnant women, Arab citizens, and religious women (as recognized by the Israeli Rabbinate) are exempt from the draft. They train them all. 🤷‍♀️
