it means you should be able to fill the toastie fuller prior to toasting - surely you can grasp that?

All you really need is a good Vintage Grill & Waffle Maker that you can adjust the height on.
Even better if it's an older General Electric one, that has the reversible grill plates.
* One side is Waffle Patterned, the other side is a flat Grilling surface.

Last forever.
