And in Florida, where Giuffre was brought by Ghislane to "massage" Epstein, the age of consent was 18. He committed child sexual abuse, legally.A photograph...which has appeared numerous times in the media...shows Virginia Giuffre (who was age 17 at the time) with her arm around Prince Andrew.
In New York, where Epstein lived, the legal age of consent is 17.
In England, where Prince Andrew lives, the legal age of consent is 16.
Just sayin'.

Morally it would have been abuse no matter what state it occurred in. They manipulated a vulnerable teenager into prostitution under false pretenses by the promise of a legit job when she needed one. They knowingly exploited her vulnerability for their own sick sexual thrills.
Ghislane defamed her as well, and settled out of court because of it.
Giuffre was molested starting at 7 years old, ran away and was exploited by multiple men, including a 65 year old when she was 14. She was primed to be a victim. She really never stood a chance. The adults in her life all failed her.
For you to come in and respond to a thread about her tragic suicide at 41 after a lifetime of suffering with a post about irrelevant age of consent laws and how she put her arm around someone, as if that makes everything that was done to her ok, is disgusting. You're blaming a true victim. I hope you don't have any daughters, or nieces, or any young girls in your life to harm with your attitude.
