Two people and their pet dog suffered serious injuries when a dispute between neighbors triggered an all-out assault on a street in Hyderabad's Rahmatnagar. CCTV footage of the incident shows a group of men attacking a man and his dog with sticks. The man's family members, who came to his rescue, were attacked too.

Note:

In the subsequent CCTV clip, The dog received several severe blows on its head, rendering it unconscious and causing significant internal damage. However, I trimmed that portion of the clip since GG does not host or promote animal cruelty.​

The Aftermath:

"Based on a complaint, we shifted the injured individuals to hospital for treatment and the dog was sent to a veterinary hospital for medical care. A case is registered against Dhanunjay and others under Sections 147, 148,307 r/w 34 of IPC and Section 11(1) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act,” confirmed the official.

I'm all for gun ownership and defending yourself. You have that right, (at least here in the US). I am curious though. Are you a coward? Shooting a group of attackers? That's OK. I agree with that. What about a single person who was beating your ass? You get in a 1 on 1, do you immediately reach for your "I'm afraid to take a punch" device? Or would you bang it out, accept the outcome, win or lose, and then go about your day?
