On April 25, Hainan, at the gate of Lingao Experimental Primary School, a child crossed the street to go to class. The child was hit by a speeding car and died instantly. The mother cried inconsolably.

Poor kid. Mom is overreacting imo, although if this happened to my son idk how I’d react.

I was in a relationship with a childhood friend when her daughter passed away in the night from staphylococcal memingitis she contracted the previous afternoon.
It ws 9.05 on a Saturday morning and I went to wake the child up (her name doesn't matter and is personal) only to find her bright red little body clearly deceased on the floor at the foot of her bed.
Her mother went in the room after I came back in the main bedroom and from what I saw, and heard, I can assure you this Chinese mother isn't overreacting.

I suppose only a mother who has lost a child truly knows how painful that is.
Me? I'm inclined to believe this poor woman in the video has simply lost complete control of her senses. Such is the shattering scale of the trauma of losing a child.
