i doubt the tariffs will even go through anyways, or atleast at a greatly reduced rate. as the world economy is incredibly dependent on us imports as they make up almost 4 trillion dollars annually, im not an economist but hes probably using them as bargaining chips to reverse the terms agreed on by the biden administration where trump believes the US was taken advantage off
The US President is using tariffs as leverage for his agenda plain and simple.
The question is, will American consumers pay a like for like item at twice the price? Most likely not. Even with tariffs, Chinese made will still be cheaper.
