Serious What's the best personal good luck you've ever experienced?

I've had many moments of good luck in my own life, but the very best has to be the day that I found a discarded backpack on the side of the road containing exactly $7000 in banded bills and some other items.

I called the Sheriff's office and asked if anyone had reported a missing backpack and they said no. I asked if I was obligated to turn it in and they said no again, unless there were drugs inside. (There wasnt.)

I waited about a month and called the Sheriff's office again and still nobody had reported it missing so I deposited it in the bank and was grateful for it. I had just turned twenty, my fiancé was pregnant and that money helped us a lot.

What about you? What's the best good luck you've ever experienced?

I tore down an old building that just so happened to be an abandoned crematorium and as I was destroying the area where the oven was I kept finding gold teeth I found 120 g of 18 carat dental gold it was pretty morbid but I melted it all down and took it to a jeweler and sold it for $7,600. Really it was a score because I only tore the building down for $2,000.

Was working for a cell company in NYC replacing transformers in cell tower equiptment rooms. I ended up running the warehouse for about a year. The transformers were already pilled up in the warehouse when I took the job.
I get curious one night and take one of them apart. Inside is about a 7lb peice of aluminum.
Turns out we were paying a company to dispose of these things for us. I take one to a scrap metal warehouse and the guy looks at it and says "hell yea we will buy it."
I call my company and tell them I am disposing of them through a private company and it will be 100$ cheaper. So for the rest of the year I pocketed 800$ a month disposal fee, and about 4k per month for the aluminum. All this on top of my salary. It was a good year.

500$ cash on the ground. In the curb directly in front of my home, couple days after I got married. Felt like a good omen, we went to a Michelin rated restaurant.
I bet Michelin tires are delicious if prepared well! 🤣

"On the menu tonight we have a wonderful steel-belted off-road tire that pairs well with Castrol 10-40w. Dessert this evening is a scrumptious Fram air filter that was picked fresh from a 1985 Ford station-wagon."

That's incredible! You melted the gold down yourself or did you take it somewhere?

Surviving my life. Statistically I should be dead, be in a abusive relationship or homless and junkie.

Ya me.
Been there done that and nearly died, I was lucky, I used anything and everything, (except jenkum) for 6 years, went homeless thought it was liberating for the first year then fuck fuck fuckety fuck it got shitty and a hassle trying to figure out where i was going in life so i quit everything and got my shit back together again. Life's too short to spend it all chasing drugs and junkie pussy.
