Serious What's the best personal good luck you've ever experienced?

What i consider the luckiest thing is not killing someone when i passed out behind the wheel in my heavy alcoholic days. Still cant belive i was driving around like that and I’m the most grateful for that stoke of luck because I’d still be in prison and someone would be dead because of me. Sorry for the buzzkill but its my honest answer

I was walking to my car from the grocery store and right on the ground outside my drivers door was a wallet. I opened it and it had 30 $100 bills but nothing else, no id,dl nothing🤔 I sat there for about 30 minutes and nobody showed up, no cars parked around me so I left with it 👍 Several days later I asked the manager if anyone reported a missing wallet and he said not in the last month I was about 27 so I spent it on weed and meth 😂👍

I've had many moments of good luck in my own life, but the very best has to be the day that I found a discarded backpack on the side of the road containing exactly $7000 in banded bills and some other items.

I called the Sheriff's office and asked if anyone had reported a missing backpack and they said no. I asked if I was obligated to turn it in and they said no again, unless there were drugs inside. (There wasnt.)

I waited about a month and called the Sheriff's office again and still nobody had reported it missing so I deposited it in the bank and was grateful for it. I had just turned twenty, my fiancé was pregnant and that money helped us a lot.

Never saw this thread when you posted it. I used to see numerous people drop money when they were paying cover charge to get in the first nightclub I did security at back in 2005. I would see others in line try to fetch for it but I put my foot on the bill and returned it to the patron. 75% would give me a personal tip for honesty. My 81 year old father taught me honesty and to not be a piece of shit.

I tore down an old building that just so happened to be an abandoned crematorium and as I was destroying the area where the oven was I kept finding gold teeth I found 120 g of 18 carat dental gold it was pretty morbid but I melted it all down and took it to a jeweler and sold it for $7,600. Really it was a score because I only tore the building down for $2,000.

Back in 90s I had a crush on this one girl, she was a hippie chick long red hair and blue eyes amazingly hot. Well I had asked her out like 3 times and after getting blown off I just went about my business. I went away for work so I’d spend months or years traveling to work. I’d spent 9 months in Brazil and a year in Iceland working on commercial vessels hauling containers and working oil and gas fields.
After about 3 years I finally get home and decided to take a few months off.
After all the women in Brazil which was one off the best times I ever had. I met and screwed plenty in Brazil.
Well I get home exhausted and I sleep for days. Just eating and sleeping for about 2 weeks. I’m watching tv one night and decided I need to get laid, so I’m flipping through the phone book and I see add for an escort service. I call the number and some girl answers. I tell her what I’m looking for and she has a girl call me.
30 minutes later a woman calls we chat a turns out she’s down the street at a casino.

Well she arrives and I buzz her in. As she walk up the stairs I meet her in the lobby of my apartment. I’m like holy shit when I see her. Turns out hippie chick is a hooker and is like hot as fucknow.
She’s in total shock it’s me.well she come in and she’s pretty shook up so I offer her a drink.
After 20-30 minutes of talking and giving her a short recap of my adventures. She gets more comfortable.
When we start messing around it’s like totally one time I felt hot
I bust out my camcorder and film like her being on of the best freaks I ever met.
Well after our fucking and being animals we went to sleep. Next morning she’s like, I had idea you were this interesting and she wanted to hang out and party whenever. I take her to breakfast and drive her home.
I tell a friend about it and they are like no way, so I pull out the camera. After they watch the video they are still like no way that’s her.
I basically took the asshole route and showed all her friends.
It was a dick move and it was more like a revenge plot after being basically treated like I was beneath her. All her friends were mean and thought I was to nerdy or weird. Turns out hippie chick is into pills and she likes to party all the time. Her sister died in a pool from a drug overdose.
Still I felt pretty lucky that it only cost me 200$ for a night of fun and sex.

After that I’d spent so much time moving around and traveling for work I lost contact with all these people. Years of chasing women in other countries acting like a degenerate Sailor.
I’m now in my 50s semi retired and have many stories. This was was fun time in my life.
I ran into her years later and I get the death stare and all. Apparently all her friend told her they watched the video. I didn’t care really care. Her piece of shit boyfriend who worked window at Macdonalds was pretty pissed. Had a few choice words to say after I told him I banged her and it cost me less than what he was spending.
Long story short,
They may think they are out of your league, not so.
All she needed was a good fucking and they see you in a different light.

She’s all boring now and is married to a simp. Great times back in the day.
