I appreciate your comment. Can you possibly elaborate on what factor would make a mod insane rather than decorative? I'm serious, I once knew a sexy chick who had a....well never mind, but I'm not totally against it. Just trying to figure out where mental illness becomes the dominating factor.

Mental illness is the dominating factor when a body modification does harm to the person getting it and impedes their ability to function normally. Cutting off your dick, cutting off part of your face. Getting any modification in an unsafe manner (in an unsanitary environment (knowingly), just experimenting with your body with absolutely no experience or skill to know the outcome). Stuff like that are the factors for me.
