Of course I would. Just go to a nice resort and don't do stupid shit. Some of the better places are run by prople with ties with the cartels. Tourists money is really important to them. If you go there to spend and have fun, you should face no problems.

Everything exactly like you said but one more thing don't be flashy. Don't flash a lot of cash don't wear big real jewelry. Just dress nice and be cool.
