Serious Would you trust your kids to make the right decision?

i dont have kids, but my mother has made it very clear to me that if there's a less than 80% chance of her recovering fully from something (she's in a coma, has brain damage, etc etc), to pull the plug. If I ever do have kids, its a conversation i'd have with them as well, so they know my wishes just in case.

I sadly needed to make that decision last year with my own mom. She had a sudden and unexpected brain aneurism. Full recovery was next to zero and though she was completely unresponsive at that point she had made her wishes well know. It was a hard goodbye but I know it was what she wanted.

My kids? I don't think they would interfere wih my wife's decision and I told her if I'm ever in that position to rub bacon under my nose and if I don't respond, pull the plug!

Skye, my furrykid 🐶 She's a sweetheart, but let's be real, her medical expertise is limited to sniffing out squirrels. 🐿️ Thankfully, my mum's got my back as my healthcare proxy. She's level-headed, knows my wishes, and I trust her implicitly. It's a relief knowing someone I love will make those tough choices if I can't. If shit hits the fan real hard, I've signed an Advance directive too.
