I saw the Osbournes (Ozzy, wife and Jack) talk about it the other day. Apparently it won 4 Oscars and is total wank. A woman fucks a fish man? Something like that?

I won all sorts of awards, was on a bunch of critics top ten lists, had a pretty decent cast but ya, basically about some ditzy bitch who fucks a fish.

Makes me want to see this insanity. It must look good and have good music to win Oscars cos the story is supposed to be very stupid. And the acting too I guess, must make fucking a fish man look impressive. I'm gona see if I can find it on Netflix or prime

Mayhem. 2017.
Unratable piece of shit.
Half a zombie virus.
Set in a corporate eviroment, the building gets sealed off and the slowly turn half zombie, rage with some sense, and attack each other.
I was working on a picture so i wasn't realy watching just listening, alot of listening. The film is only 90 mins but there seems to be endless dialouge. It sets up the work place power structure and but instead a mad suvival scramble to the finish, you are taken thru the main guy getting wrongly fired and the dialouge as he interacts with a variety of people who he ends up fighting and killing to get the top. The fights scenes are good but very few. I got sick of this film after 45 mins, and i was barley watching it.

Brandon Cronenberg wrote and directed this, his second film. It has a great style to it, sudden and explosive violence, practical effects.
It's an interesting concept but it failed to keep me engaged just due the flatness of plot. It was hard to work out what was going sometimes and why due to the monotone plot.

I love David Cronenberg. Videodrome is one of my all time faves. I was looking forward to this one, have yet to see it.
