I'm fully for it and I don't really get the arguments against it, probably another cancerous attitude in society still sitting about from Christianity. Choosing to die under your own terms with dignity rather than shitting into a tube with your loved ones watching. While we're at it, what is so taboo about throwing a retarded kid off a cliff? It's a tough one, but I lean towards in favour. The idea of being forced to live isn't desirable, but I don't think MAID should be a first resort and there should be measures in place to ensure the decision isn't like impulsive and is longstanding.

Unconditionally yes. All people should have the choice to live or have an easy death. I bet that a surprising number of people out there have given up on life, in many cases for very good reasons, and would willingly line up for this service if it were professionally and painlessly rendered. It would be one of the better expenditures of taxpayer dollars.

I agree, just think how many people in the prison system would be dead and saving money for the taxpayers
