Faridkot / Devanand Sharma: There has been a terrible road accident near Golewala, the village of Faridkot in Punjab. In this accident, 3 people from the same family of Shrubwala village of Faridkot died. According to information, an I20 car from the village Golewala hit the Platina motorcycle vigorously, killing three people on the motorcycle on the spot. Those who died in this incident have been identified as Sarabjit Kaur wife Chand Singh age 45, Sant Singh son Gurlal Singh age 11 and Gurdev Singh son age 18 from Gurkirat. Video of this entire incident was captured in CCTV. Police are searching for a car driver based on CCTV. Who immediately escaped from the spot.
Giving information, Chand Singh said that Sant Singh is his nephew and Sant Singh's father died on Wednesday and indulgence was kept in the house on Friday. He told that after the death of the father, son Sant Singh was having a very severe pain in his stomach and he was taking pain and getting his medicine to his wife and gurkirat Golewala was going. That's when the high speed car coming from the other side hit the bike hard, Due to which both boys died on the spot while his wife died on the way before reaching the hospital.
Chand Singh said that the car rider was coming at a very high speed and he escaped as soon as he hit the collision. If he stopped and tried to take them to the hospital, his wife could have saved her life. He has demanded the administration to take strict action by controlling the car rider soon.
In this regard, DSP Jasmeet Singh said that the car rider is being tried to trace through CCTV footage and the primary investigation has revealed that accused Ferozpur K village is from Sapaonali. Further action is being taken by filing a lawsuit under section 304.
