Chinks aren't eating them as much as the Beaners are, to wit:
The countries with the highest consumption of insects are Mexico (450 species), Thailand (272 species), India (262 species), Congo (255 species), China (235 species), Brazil (140 species), Japan (123 species), and Cameroon (100 species).

It makes sense, that they are incredible creatures, although disgusting, don't they say they're the only thing that would survive a nuclear holocaust? Human are quite abhorrent if you look at us in a larger picture. I don't know why cockroaches get such a bad rap but I've lived in colorado my entire life and we don't really have many here

They do smell bad and the chemical never quite leaves clothes right away. Plus they are walking bundles of E. coli, salmonella, Streptococcus, ect. You can get some real shits if they crawl on your food. But most of it is because it's highly adaptive animal. They thrive on our waste. In most of the world, dogs and pigs are still considered disgusting pests too. For thriving off exactly what we eat and having stomachs lined with salmonella and other baddies like trichinosis.

We likely wouldn't care about any of that, if they couldn't live around humans well and minded their own business though. There are a lot of animals out there carrying stuff that isnt good for us, and it's easier to blame the closest most thriving thing among us. Rats, bats, cockroaches, flies, ect.
