According to authorities, the accident occurred at 9:07 a.m. at Carrera 45 and Calle 5 Norte, when the Bajaj Boxer motorcycle collided with a Chevrolet NHR truck with license plate EYZ-782 that was parked at the site.
The girl suffered severe head injuries and, although she was immediately taken to David Padilla Villafañe Regional Hospital, she arrived with no vital signs.
The accident has caused shock in the community and has once again raised concerns about road safety and motorcycle safety in the city.
Traffic authorities are conducting an investigation to clarify the exact circumstances of this unfortunate event.
