December 20, 2011.

Sandy Hook Elementary School shooter Adam Lanza had a chilling fascination with Travis, the domesticated chimpanzee that mauled a Connecticut woman in 2009. One year before his 2012 rampage, Lanza called an Oregon college radio show using an alias to discuss the animal.

The Program: In December 2011, Lanza called into Anarchy Radio on the University of Oregon's KWVA station.

The Alias: He used the name "Greg" and disguised his voice, speaking softly and deliberately for over seven minutes.

The Comparison: Lanza controversially compared the chimp's sudden, violent attack to that of a "teenage mall shooter," stating that Travis's behavior was a parallel to random acts of human violence that society struggles to explain.

Confirmation: Following the Sandy Hook tragedy, researchers and former classmates recognized Lanza's distinct voice on the archived radio recording.

Online Activity: Investigators discovered that Lanza also posted about the radio appearance on message boards under the pseudonym "Smiggles," noting that he wished he hadn't spoken about the chimp for quite so long.

How about the brave sherrif standing down for an HOUR so 18 more kids could die, huh? Thats the real piece of shit in this befuddled confusion of a protector of your kids. He was voted in, think votes still matter? yeppers, sure dont
They won’t care. He resigned but they would have kept him even if he hadn’t. He is a piece of shit for being in that position and not doing what he should have. The shooter shouldn’t be considered better, though. No matter what, targeting children for harm in any manner should be a sudden death sentence.

This exact scenario went down during Uvalde.. all police officers, who stood by while innocent children were being murdered, are cowards.

On a side note and I know I'll catch some hell for this, the boy Adam Lanza who committed this heinous act is as much of a victim as the children he murdered. If you go to any search domain and type in "Was Adam Lanza on any drugs", there are at least 10 articles stating "No, he was not on any drugs".
