As an adult ... have you ever watched a kid movie or cartoon that actually made you cry? but you never admitted it.

No...honestly cartoons don't make me cry....but this poor fella looked like me after the Dallas Cowboys game yesterday...I was helpless.

I think I'm too medicated & too dead inside for movies to make me cry. Live classical music on the other hand can turn me into a blithering faggot. When you feel the deep base in chest, the strings.....fuck, I'm like a menopausal jew.
Will you please explain to me what is a "menopausal Jew"? 😂 😆 😂

I raised my daughter on my own as a single Dad.. I'll save the shit details - however - (and she's older now, got herself a boyfriend and moved in with him and all that shenanigans) .. Over the years I have watched hundreds of cartoons, Disney shows , animated movies etc... Tons of girl stuff like barbie and such. I's a DUTY as a Dad of a little girl .. I think. The other day I watched a movie I never saw before. It was an animated thing someone said I should give a look at. It was made using a sea shell and putting a googly eye on it and making a whole movie of it. Normally I would be a cynical smart ass and make fun of it , but, strangely.. I was emotionally touched by the story. I got thinking ... how just a simple cartoon or animated Disney movie can hit me in the feels so much - even worse when I least expect it. The part in the movie where it triggered memories of my own life struggles ... it's fucking amazing how movies can do that. I am interested to hear other people's opinions , experiences with this. Have you ever watched a cartoon movie or some children's movie and held back the tears cos it hits the FEELS so much? I think there's a special formula, like matching the vibe of the music with everything - it's like a weird Disney "Cry Hypnosis" for grown ups. or maybe the story just triggers shit we hide inside a lot. Anyway , was curious to get other's thoughts on it. What was the movie that triggered you? or what was the scene? that gave you BIG feels?

Itchy and Scratchy. I cry every time Scratchy dies.

I do not know why.... but I always seem to well up with tears watching Puss In Boots: The Last Wish.

Tears of laughter whenever Big Jack Horner is on screen - he is so unashamedly awful. A villain who loves to be a villain.

But something really gets me in the feels, when Puss is helped by Perito when he has a panic attack, and especially when Puss has his final confrontation with the Wolf, and he returns the Wolf's line of "...pick it up!" after he disarms the Wolf. I have no idea why that triggers my tears. But it does, and I still love the film, regardless.

Yes.. to be specific: Coco- and if I’m being honest I don’t know what’s making me cry but I do 😔

Oh fuck yea bits of watetship down and the end of plague dogs...

Weird residual kids stuff there

My mum used to babysit this autistic kid, he was great... anyway I was testing his tism one night by getting us all to watch both the movies

He literally didn't give a fk
When the dogs drown...
Nothing, void...

I Didnt get shitty and pop goregrish on though

crying as an adult is a faggot move!
There are only 4 permitted scenarios it should be tolerated, death of parents, death of children, death of siblings, and when ET nearly dies.

Bridge to Terabithia when Jesse finds out that Leslie died and he goes back to find her because he doesn't believe it and he sees the dark lord running parallel to him and getting closer and then the dark lord grabs him and it cuts to a different camera and it's Jesse's dad hugging him

So this is gay but my dad committed suicide and it's been fucking Impossible but I keep it together pretty well. Like 4 months ago my kids were watching this movie onward. It's about these brothers trying to bring back their dad fro. The dead. Anyways near the end they get to see their dad well.one of them. And I just lost it. I hate crying it's such a bitch move but I couldn't hold it in
