IMHO, it was not an even fight, and he used excessive force. He let his anger get the best of him. He could have called the cops and his supervisor.

He’s lucky he didn't break her jaw. I do believe if she filed at civil suit at that point, she would have been awarded the amount of her hospital bills, in addition to an amount for pain and suffering.
