The only Americans that can’t collectively swim are the melanin rich variety. Might be bc apes can’t swim either, and closer genetic stock. Idk.

Although, my wife can’t swim and she’s ultra white. Said the water was too cold to ever get into, in Washington state. I believe it, it’s all glacier water fuck that.
Do you also believe you're genetically superior to them? 😂

I can't and neither could my dad, @slickrick27 said it might be a good idea for a thread and it made me wonder if there's many other "negatively buoyant" (thanks @Soulless for the fancy wording) members here.
I'm sure there's plenty that can... And plenty who think it's bizarre that I'm in my 40s and somehow managed to not learn or drown yet.
Im like a dolphin love swimming

As I live in a country that is below sea level, yes, I can swim and have been since I can remember. Most schools used to teach swimming, but where I live, this is no longer the case. Most kids start lessons around 5 years old, some earlier.

There is a lot of water here.

Australia has great beaches---bit of a lucky dip if you get out of the water without being stung, fanged or with both legs---just kidding, the waters fine!
