It's the same problem that keeps happening every generation. Think of Europe as a single entity. Every generation they go to war. WWI, WWII, the Cold War, and now this. And how does it start, Europeans fighting each other and then when both sides are very weak the US steps in and ends it somehow. Then a new generation of Europeans grows up, upset about what happened in the past, and they start a new conflict all over again.
I don't trust Zelensky at all. Just like the last time, I think this ceasefire will only give that cock goblin time to rearm, beg for additional funds and support and then strike back like a toddler with a temper tantrum in pure futility. Putin should just march straight on to Kiev and completely crush Ukraine...

I personally wouldnt say the US started it, but Biden enabled the war, rather than peace negotiations they sent weapons and opted for the complete annihilation of Ukraine all to try and wear down the Russian army, but to no avail.
There's lot of videos that weren't released yet.

The Russo-Ukraine conflict has revealed to the world that Russia (and Putin) are a laughing stock; a third-rate military power manned by a Stalin-wannabe, that couldn't even crush a nation 1/10th their size. If anything, you should be thankful that Russia screwed the pooch by invading Ukraine - they are no longer a superpower now. The illusion has been shattered by their complete incompotence in a war that they cannot win.
On the the bright side: Trump can use the war as an excuse to get rid of illegal immigrants: he can tell them that anybody who signs up to fight for Ukraine for a minimim 2 year enlistment will receive automatic U.S. citizenship ( should they survive that long ).
