An unfortunate accident occurred this Sunday during the Arrancones 4×4 2024 Miramar beach, which took place in the dunes of this city.
It was reported that in front of dozens of attendees the drivers of two units left at full speed, but one of them lost control of the steering wheel, skidded on the sand and was projected to the right ramming several children, adults and seniors who were behind the fences.
Support was quickly requested to the emergency numbers, and paramedics from the Red Cross, CIPAR, ASL and volunteers arrived to attend them, but unfortunately one minor died and 7 assistants were injured, two of them seriously, so they were taken to the hospital for proper care.
Agents of the State Attorney General's Office initiated the investigation and the units were secured for the investigation, while the body was taken by criminal experts to the Forensic Medical Service for the autopsy.
