I see.. now, ive heard about crazy glue, but i started to learn this part. song with heavy gage strings. Even now when i play it on lesser gage, it can hurt. Not so bad now just in the beginning.Nah...go without the vaseline and build up the calluses on your fingers. When they get sore run them under cold water and leave things for a while. Next day play again and do same thing. Trick is to not let your right hand finger tips get soft - so no vaseline or skin lotion. I remember when I used to put Crazy Glue on my fingers and played till the skin broke.
