Do you think of anything that helps you fall asleep?

I don't sleep. Its very weird. I can fall asleep fairly easily, i just cant stay that way. I get 2-3 broken hours a night, if I'm lucky. Every few months my body just shuts down and I basically go into a coma for 16-20 hours. Then it's back to constant insomnia. Working doesn't help, neither do medications. I gave up trying to "fix" it a long time ago.
I have the same problem. About 3 hours a night for weeks until my body shuts down and I'll get 6-7 hours when it does. I attribute my sleep problems to my parting days when I would stay up for days, if not weeks drinking and doing other extracurriculars.

I have to use a sleep aid then smoke some indica , indica waxes and vaping. I will sleep for about 4 hrs and re awaken wide awake. Part military to blame and some after bladder cancer retraining myself to get up for restroom...

If you have problems with sleep you need to look at it systematically, not just go to a doctor for pills. Regular meals, bedtime sleep and screen hygiene first. Maybe home sleep study. Chamomile tea melatonin, work your way up from there. Start with prescription meds and you will never address the root cause of the problem

Chew some valerian root and get more exercise

Need white noise like a fan. Usually just pass right out. I have pretty good biological clock and usually wake up before an alarm goes off.
I have an 18 minute rain shower clip, with two low long rumbles in the distance, I just BT it from the PC to the stereo nice and low on infinite repeat all night! Only thing that wakes me up having to piss like a Russian draft horse....

Falling asleep isn't the problem staying asleep is. I average about 3 hours of broken sleep every night. No matter what I take . Drs are no help .
Try tea brewed from the youngest bark you can scrape from a magnolia tree. Never would have believed it if I hadn't tried it. It also works as a natural painkiller similar to opiates.

Cup of that twenty minutes before you go to bed will work wonders.

Sleep apnea messes up a lot of people’s lives. I would try going to a sleep center to be evaluated. A CPAP machine can change your life.

I will actually create some kind of fantasy scenario in my head that makes me feel good and surprisingly it works, it makes me tired and I fade out. Usually its like winning the lottery or something. Being able to do things that maybe i can't do presently
