Female Facial Piercings...Do Women Do It For Men, Or For Other Women?

I took out all my piercings when I turned 30. I think it's fun when your young but it's weird when you're older
I reckon it's like that with long hair...You see some 50 year old fella, who just can't let go of their child hood..but each to their own...I really couldn't give a rat's arse...

I have seen a couple of comments here that have alluded to an "alternative" look...but in reality, there's nothing "alternative" about it.
And that's because they're not expressing any individuality whatsoever.

In fact, just the opposite...they're merely following "trends"...and thus, they're just being like every other person who follows trends...instead of simply being themselves.
Therefore, they have no individuality whatsoever.
They're just carbon-copies of everyone else who's following the latest "trend."
One person does it...and everyone else copies it. Boring.

It's sort of like "trendy" catch-phrases.

For a while, it was "trendy" to reply with the idiotic phrase..."I know...right?"...if someone heard a statement that he or she agreed with.
Thus, they all sounded like a bunch of silly carbon-copies of each other...but ZERO individuality.
One person says it...and everyone else copies it. Again...boring.

Now, the "trendy" catch-phrase seems to be starting a sentence with the word "so."
I call them "so-sayers."

Thus, lately you'll ask a person a question, and they'll respond with..."So...it seems to me that..." and then they'll answer the question.

And the vast majority of sentences starting with the word "so" are grammatically incorrect.
But, one person says it, so everyone else says it...again, silly carbon-copies of each other. Boring.

Thus, the person...male or female...who truly stands out and is different is the individual who doesn't follow trends...either in speech, clothing, or jewelry...that is the person who stands out as unique and as a true individual.

LOL. You can't seriously believe that?

"Piercings" are ubiquitous nowadays.

In other words, they're everywhere...everyone and their brother has one.

You're not "scaring" anyone...young or old...you're just looking like a carbon-copy of everyone else.

Thus, you're not "scaring" anyone...hell, you're not even being unique or different.

You're just following "trends," and being a carbon-copy of everyone else who follows the same trends. Boring.

Clearly I have gotten under your skin, that’s good enough for me.
I think it’s kinda gay to care that much about what other people wear and choose to do with their bodies. I enjoy how piercings look on my face and I don’t care if people have the same piercings because it looks different on every face, besides, people with face piercings are fun.

I personally know of two young women who have piercings on their facial area.

One of them is a neighbor across the street and one house over.
She has a piercing through her left eyebrow.

I occasionally encounter her when we're walking our dogs, and we'll stop and exchange pleasantries with each other.
She's in her mid-30's, is married, and is a nice girl...but the stud through her left eyebrow somewhat annoys me, and I find it distracting and needless...and a detraction from her overall persona.

The second young woman works where I work.
She's in her late 20's, has a long-term live-in boyfriend, and is also a very nice girl...but she has a piercing to one side of her upper lip.
Again, I find her facial piercing to be annoying and distracting...and I believe it detracts from her overall persona.

From across a room, it appears that she might have an unsightly mole on one side of her upper lip...but when you get closer to her, you realize that it's a lip piercing with an unsightly stud through her upper lip.

Now, since both of these young women have "significant others" at home, I can logically conclude that they don't have facial piercings to impress or attract men.

Thus, my logical conclusion is that women engage in this tom-foolery and defacement of themselves in an attempt to impress other women.

its probably a little difficult for ya with ya being old and all that comes with it but, did it eva cross your tiny mind that these girls have these piercings coz, and here it comes, THEY LIKE EM !

Piercings and tattoos are without doubt a form of communication. Just as a haircut, a beard, a dress style or whatever that is visible for others on a body.

The only difference I see is that a person who changes its body in a rather permanent way (tattoos, piercings,..) has somehow a struggle with itself. Or why would a person make such a change, if it loves its body the way it is?

I don't give a fuck personally. If I'm going to hate someone it's not for the shit in their face. it's the shit in their head. Besides, some of you have fat wives, or three chins, a carpet of back hair like a Greek. That's more disgusting than earrings

@Bloody Kisses fucked her face up with 2 piercings...lol.

Indeed Sir...I Agree 100%.

Ms. Bloody Kisses had a good palette to start with...be she fucks it up by plastering on a superfluous amount of cheap and tawdry makeup.

And if her "make-up" isn't monetarily cheap...It still looks cheap and tawdry.

Also...she has permanently fucked up and defaced her looks by by putting permanent holes in her face.

Totally Ridiculous...Adolescent...And Stupid Looking.

Unfortunately...everything she's done to that palette has been a negative...and puncturing her face was a big...and permanent...fuck-up.

Sad...and actually...in a way...pathetic.
