First gore pic/vid you ever saw?

can you remember your introduction to gore? I saw the statement in a previous thread and it got me thinking

I was about 13 and finding this in the metal section of the local record store... mia my buddies made several trips just to see the cover and inlay art... Until the front counter doosh removed it from the rack lol.

this event predates the interwebs... Yesh, Im getting old!

In late 2003, I was a 20-year-old Staff Sergeant/E-5 in the US Air Force. A guy in my unit showed me the Chechclear beheading video on Ogrish. Sometime in 2004, I actually bothered to join the forum, and the rest is history. I suppose I'm coming up on my 10th anniversary of fucking around with Internet gore.

Technically though, I saw my very first gore in the 1990s. My father was a criminal attorney and my mother was (and still is) a family attorney, and they owned books showing evidentiary medical photographs of abused and/or murdered women, men, babies and children. I read through a couple of those.

I was about 7 or 8 when I saw someone burned to a crisp after a bad car accident. As for first gore picture? I honestly don't remember.

Grew up watching Faces of Death but those have since been debunked. First true gore pic I can remember was in a '94-'95 copy of Ben Is Dead. They had an article on a guy who was found dead in bed. The pic showed him with an intricate setup/apparutus to where he could move his legs and fuck himself with these enormous dildos and died of cardiac arrest. One of the gigantic dildos was still in his butthole. There were other big ass dildos layed about around him. They had these handles on each side of them. I have looked around for this on the net to no avail.

Saw the bandsaw suicide set when I was about 16, think it might have been at choosedeath at the time. Saw the pics of the guy on pcp or whatever that supposedly carved his face off and fed it to dogs immediately afterwards. Found my way there through some random metal forum. Once I saw those, I spent a few hours browsing thorough the site and clicking this link or that to see what else I could find. After choosedeath, rotten.com became my new favorite place to bum around, at least until they stopped updating.

When I was 5 years old my little cousin died. She was born one month before me but she was very sick with two holes in her heart and a host of other problems. They said she would not live to see her first birthday but her and I played together until she died. I saw and interacted with her dead body for a while. I was absolutely freaked with death from that moment on. Later as I grew up I was killing animals on the farm for the freezer then later I was a hunter and a fur trapper. When I finally grew up I went into Law Enforcement and got to see all the blood and guts I could handle. Now its like a hobby. I think death is beautiful in its own way, and no two people die the same. We all have different exit and it comes to soon. The death doesn't bother me, its the pain! If I had to do all over again I would have gone to medical school and become a coroner.

I was 7 and my father had all these old True crime mags with lots of depressing, grainy black n white crime scene pics in them...I remember my first time seeing dead people was a couple of pics of Bonnie and Clyde after they 'd been riddled with bullets...I would stare at it for hours and masturb .....umm....and think about stuff......

Thanks! Makes me think of a guy in the jail I worked at several yrs ago who was high on meth, he was put in the drunk tank by himself and he ripped his eyeballs out with his fingers. I had to hold pressure on them until the ambulance showed up. There ended up being an investigation coz nobody could believe he had done that to himself so it was being blamed on guards. I thought for sure he was on pcp but all he tested positive for for meth.

First vid for me was the dude tied between two jeeps. Gets shot in the face and then has his arm pulled off by one of the aforementioned jeeps.

The guy who runs that site will probably end up staring in his own death vid soon lol... considering how poorly he writes, he'll probably end up hanging himself.
