E15 spots adult with food, they land, adult backs away, E mantles and claims the food.

He bring it back to the nest, armored catfish.

Damned owl, told ya's they'd show soon.

E15 knows something is there, just can't see it, he also knows it's not good. The nest is just below E15. And M is in an upper branch above them both.

From Cam2... Owl is yellow, E15 is red, M15 is green.

Sun up and you can see E and M better where they were perched.

E15 gets damn near buzzed off the tower by a persistent sub adult... that's Harriet(mom)on the outter branch.
Intruder is flying in just to the right of her shoulders. Both Mom and E are vocalizing way before it even gets into frame.

E15 hangs on and rights herself...

And Harriet is off in a flash giving chase.

I can't predict this season's end as it's not ended and has flowed into another... but E15 is rolling into the 7 month age range and will have to go soon. Harriet has been seen bringing in nesterations for a new clutch and her tolanrence of E15 will start to fade. I don't wanna see either parent hand out tough love, cause they will.
Fly on now little babe, is time to go.

If and it's a big IF... they let her stay, this nest will break yet another boundary no one could have ever predicted.

E15 growing up.. look at those eyes, they're fading from the black.
We've not ever been able to see a babe of Harriet's at this age. Beautiful birdie.

E15 has not be seen in a few days.
If she's truely gone, may she fly free and high and have a wonderful eagle life.

That's one of the largest eagles, but it gives you a good idea just how big those talons are.
