So, an autistic 18 year old called Arion Kurtaj (AKA White, Breachbase and now teapotuberhacker) is being named as the alleged 'brains' behind the Uber hack last week, and GTA6 hack a few days ago. If the claims are true, then it's the same person who owned Doxbin and is credited for hacking Microsoft, Samsung and NVIDIA.
Both Uber and GTA (Rockstar) were infiltrated by him gaining access to their Slack admin groups, either by phishing scams or through social engineering - befriending people with high level access to target companies, in order to find out or steal their log-in credentials.
He obviously has some talents, but common sense isn't one of them.
He doesn't try to cover his tracks and is attempting to blackmail Rockstar with the GTA 5 & GTA 6 source code. He leaked 90 videos of development game footage to prove what he got.
Because of his (literal )autism, he didn't get any user-data from Uber, which is where the value is if it's money he's after, despite gaining almost total administrative control of the company, through Slack.
If it is this dude, the authorities won't need to try hard to catch him as he was only released from custody earlier this year, just escaping a jail term (because of the autism) on condition he stays away from computers. lol
He might get away hacking charges if his lawyers can prove that social engineering isn't hacking, but if the alleged extortion is true, that will likely be his downfall.
