man i hope the other guy dies too, he was looking to kill someone at this point, you cant come up and assault someone for words then shoot them for arming themselves because you assaulted them. once again if literally anyone but a cop (or in this case trained security) did this they would be in fucking prison.

If you’re willing to brandish the gun, just like some dumb fucking kid who got shot in the hand did for brandishing a fake gun did recently then you’re a threat. Shoving is one level. Brandishing takes it up to the next level or two…or three.

He has every right, given to him by the property owner, to deny access. What would happen to a regular person is irrelevant. Regular people aren't trained and employed specifically to provide security, otherwise they would be called security guards FFS.
