im a cheap bastage in a lot of ways but my girls and i like our meaty bits. i get kobe, slice off 3/4 inch slabs, sear quickly on each side and bob's yer uncle-that's dinner. no taters, no salad. that,s our fast food. never tasted A1. never want to. nearly raw and wrigglin

My cut of preference is Filet Mignon.
I like it cooked medium.
I like a loaded baked potato as a side.
[a slice or 2 of white onion & a jalapeno also
as side]

A small splash of Worcestershire sauce on the
plate is plenty. NO Gay-1 shit sauce, ever.

I drink Shiner Bock, bottles, to wash it all down.
 
A-1 fucking sucks! if the cook knows his shit, you wont need anything, maybe Worcestershire! well done is a waste of meat!

I only do salt and pepper on mine. That is enough. Sometimes I enjoy topping it with a mushroom blend; artichoke hearts, kalamata olives, goat cheese; or maytag blue cheese and crushed walnuts. I love a nice Wellington as well...going to make one with venison soon. Have to order thicker filets than the butcher regularly sells for that one

I use to like my meat so rare that I'd jump the fence and chase the bastards with a knife and fork!
 
Flat Iron Steak for starters (takes only 2 minutes to cook anyways);then some Sirloin cut from the Beef knuckle, about 1.5 inches thick, medium rare with some light sprinkling of seasoning salt or steak rub (your choice) to add a hint of extra flavor. Loaded twice-baked potato and small salad on the side. Milk, Soda and possibly some good wine (depending on the day) as the drinks to accompany this.
 
Iv been a cook for many years...and nothing pissed me off more then when fuckers ordered steaks well done. Theres no point in it, steak is meant to be eaten under medium..anything under medium is superb!
 
Medium rare filet - 2" thick. Seared good on both sides on charcoal grill only - anything else is a waste. No A1, no bacon wrapped, nothing - just a little ketchup (just kidding), nothing but salt. If not a filet, gotta be a Porterhouse or New York Strip, at least 1" thick grilled the same as the filet.
