My truck is old enough to drink at bars in the US without a fake moustache and I.D. I will drive it until I can no longer get parts for it and considering it's a cummins diesel Ram it's going to be quite a while before that happens. As nice as a shiny pretty fancy new whip seems on the surface, as an industry insider it's just not worth the money new cars cost to me. I prefer to buy them cheap used and broken, fix them up and have my monthly payment of $0 stay that way indefinitely.

Start by visiting your local Radio Shack, they're always helpful.
Do they still have those? There are none left near me.

They were always helpful at finding you the $24 worth of items needed to kludge together the $4 item they never seemed to have in stock.

"Sorry. We don't have the 1/4" TSR to 1/8" TSR adapter you are looking for... But, you can use the 1/4" to 1/16" adapter into a 1/16" to dual mono 1/8", 12' Y cable into a dual 1/8" Y mono to 1/4" TSR adapter."

As a nerdy kid I used to page through their annual catalog and make endless lists of stuff I wanted. One thing I never owned over the years was a Tandy computer, they always had a rep of being overpriced and kind of shit.

They were rebranded as "The Source" in Canada about 20 years ago, I honestly can't remember the last time I was ever in one of their stores.

We used to have Tandy here, if it's the same shop it was like a place for novice electrical scientists and short wave radio hams. Wires and diodes. Then this fucker Dick Smith built the same thing called "dick Smith" but with televisions and DVD players too. Then Tandy started stocking TV's and sound systems. They both stopped selling electrical components, wires and diodes. Turned into generic consumer brand retailers. They both went broke because JB-hifi is a far better store to buy televisions and all that crap in. Two stores that literally cut their own throats trying to outdo each other so hard they lost sight of how they originally began.

I don't understand what's to stop anyone just ripping the wire out of the board and soldering it directly to the switch?
This honestly sounds like easy money for anyone with a $40 solder gun and some basic know how.

What's next, do you like power windows? For just 9.99 per month you can use a button or you'll have to fit the handles we included in your glove box. Do you like glove boxes? For 9.99 we'll let you open this stylish internal box which contains your window handles. Do you like keyless entry? For 9.99 per month you can enter your car without the hassle of carrying keys (note: keys do not work with gloveboxes)

Is there a big run on heated seats in australia, NZ? COOLED seats I could see a want for.
But just run a wire from the battery to the seat with a switch. It's not like they are using a 24V system to heat the seats.
All they are doing is have a computer module close a relay. jump the relay.

Vee have ways of making you shiver.
Looks like they are at it again with the ice water tanks. Now you gotta pay to get out.

LOL, those crafty German kunts

BMW is now selling heated seats as a monthly subscription in some countries, reflecting a growing trend in the automotive industry of locking features behind a digital paywall.
In Austra, the U.K., South Africa and New Zealand, BMW owners can pay C$19 to C$23 per month to access front heated seats or pay C$504 to C$540 to have it enabled permanently.
The hardware required for heated seats is already installed in the vehicle, but purchasing the feature through BMW's ConnectedDrive Store unlocks the feature for users through a digital update.
Other features available as a monthly subscription include automatic high beam assists, heated steering wheels, adaptive cruise control with lane-keep assist and the built-in dash camera. The price of these range anywhere between C$15 to C54 per month.

As much as I think this is kind of a dink move my deviant marketing brain thinks its pretty smart and the way of the future. The reality is it probably doesn't cost a manufacture much to add any of these options but there's value for the consumer so its chargeable. I can see that for some options like heated seats you many only want them for a few months of the year so it might make sense to pay as you go. Its a model that's been used by software and IT vendors forever. It also provides an annuity revenue stream for BMW which shareholders love. However a problem I can see is with the more computerization of vehicles its greater risk of them being hackable.

Well, you're descended from same, so I suppose you're a crafty CUNT as well. I'm sure it fits, as I'm never wrong.

I've been trying to ignore this clown, but he's been actively attracting my attention lately, so he def misses my love.
As I have a couple of minutes to waste, let me talk about this moron.

All he does is complain about blacks and other minorities, but especially about blacks. It's like he's a bit OCD about them.
So blacks live in his squirrel like brain full time, even though his entire life is centered 100 miles north and south of Bonners Ferry, so he never even actually sees them.

Like WC, who by his own admission never sees blacks, but they still live in his head full-time.
I grew up in and still live in Manhattan, which as all know is infested with blacks, but I hardly think about them. See how that works?

Also, he's another member who's a single man in his late forties. Always a red-flag to me. Any guy past 35 who's still single has something wrong with him. It's been proven to me time and again. Maybe he just has absolutely NO GAME.

Claims he has a girlfriend, but me suspects she's just his beard, if she is in fact even real.

So, a doofus, with no game, who must go to whores to get fucked. Not only is he a fucking asshole, but he actually prefers to fuck the asshole.
That makes him half a faggot...at least. Maybe a full fag. Probably a full fag.

He also has this strange attachment to Bill Murray. Like he's trying to live his life through him. LOSER.

I wonder if you could fill up the seat with Peltier plates (-60c) without it fucking up somehow and ending in a fireball

Jump the fuse box, and the next morning your car is a block of ice.
