Yet it never gets brought up...
Hey Toosee, care to comment?
Ngāpuhi raiding party
"Thousands of Māori died in the intertribal Musket Wars of the 1810s, 1820s and 1830s. Many more were enslaved or became refugees. Northern rivals Ngāpuhi and Ngāti Whātua led the way, but all the tribes were soon trading for muskets.
Muskets (ngutu pārera) changed the face of intertribal warfare, decimating some tribes and drastically altering the rohe (territorial boundaries) of others. By the 1830s campaigns had become too costly. With European diseases also taking a heavy toll, warfare gave way to economic rivalry.
By this time thousands had fled their traditional lands, complicating questions of ownership and freeing large areas for potential Pākehā (European) settlement. "
If these guys had been white we'd never hear the end of it. Because they are Polynesian it never gets brought up.
The double standards of the progressive left are breath taking...
On another note, Australia's 'voice to parliament' which is designed to be enshirned in our constitution, giving 3% of our population special powers to interfere, is becoming less and less likely to get up when we vote on it in the next month or two.
Latest stats show Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania are all voting no.
The two territories, Northern Territory and Australian Capital Territory, do not count in the majority of 4 out of six states required to get it across the line and only count in the majority of population in favour.
To win at a referendum you need a majority of the population plus 4 out of 6 states to vote yes.
Wait for it to fail and then see the BLM style marches and burnings in the streets.
Can't wait...
