Mounting Loses of the Russian Army in the Eastern Ukraine as they increase their Offensive (1 Viewer)

Strange i never viewed russians as any different as any other person but now i see them as sort of disposable waste their supreme leader Pootin doesn't give one or two shits about. They're like cattle raised to be slaughtered one day or be used as their leader commands. Must suck total ass to be born a russian. I've had a plenty of very nice russian people as tenants on my summer cottage here in Finland, wonder if any of them were killed in this insane war. I truly hate to see this and im not even lying.

According to this 4-star general from the USA, Russia in fact did not have major losses and even more it is becoming stronger. The more NATO equipment that enters the conflict, the better. And the more modern it is, the better for Russia. That is why they are looking forward to, for example, the participation (postponed until who knows when) of the F16. And they are looking forward to finding a M1A1 at the front.

This is something OBVIOUS for any student of wars who understand and read something more than what is seen on CNN, RT. The result for Russia of this conflict is VERY positive in ALL indicators, and the longer it lasts and the more NATO equipment is sent, the more will be.

Of course, here you will find opinions with geopolitical analysis from people who don't even know how the world works, or war analysis from people who all they do is read news sites and will think they know more than a 4-star general...

Yep, no Russians killed in this conflict HaHaHa, but, have to agree, they probably have recouped their losses by vigorous conscription, there's a big difference between volunteer professional soldiers & conscripted soldiers who don't want to be there, they're just cannon fodder & they know it, this does not make a stronger force, only a bigger one & today's weapons have shown to negate that. Most, if not all, Generals are political creatures not military ones, they get advancement through political means, not military success, this General is as nervous as hell, um, er, ah, why? Is he lying? Doesn't know what he's talking about? Or is there another political agenda here? Then the subject gets changed to submarines building up in the Atlantic which has nothing to do with Ukraine but would have a major effect on the US, consider that.

Yeah, they've learned a valuable lesson: Russia is nowhere near as scary as it used to be. "Largest tank army in the world".... and it's all outdated shit from the 1970s and 1980s.

At this rate - how do we even know that Russian nukes even work as designed? Maybe they are as shit as their tanks?
No other country could have outlasted sanctions and economic hostility from virtually every other country this long.

If Ukraine was 'loosing' as everyone puts it, Russia would be marching on Kyiv not stuck in the Doneskt & Luhansk areas, the ground changes, a paddock here, a crossroad there, taken & lost by each side, really, it's a stalemate, at the moment Russia holds 17 odd % of Ukraine, a lot less than it did at the start, Ukraine, at this point, is hoping the Russian people have had enough of Putin & will vote him out (fat chance!) By rights, Russia should have flogged Ukraine black & blue but they have a problem (other than learning to fight a conventional force) if they put in the manpower to beat Ukraine what does NATO think? Is it an attempt to take back old com-block countries that are now part of NATO? Will NATO react? So in comes the Special Military Operation, remember, Russia lied its guts out about all the troops in Belarus being on a 'training' operation (even their own troops never knew they were in Ukraine) so how does NATO trust Putin's word again? Russia's plans probably have now changed, seeing as Ukraine was not the push-over it thought & a holding operation on the Doneskt & Luhansk borders is now on the cards (it's not there yet) all depends on how Ukraine feels about loosing those areas after loosing Crimea. The US doesn't think Ukraine is loosing, a 175 million arms package is on its way or it just likes to piss off Russia & test new goodies. There is something bigger in the wind.

Last I checked, Ukraine is a graveyard for a fuck ton of Russians too.

"We beat NATO!" Buddy, NATO hasn't even gotten there. The US is unloading billions of dollars of outdated ordinance and equipment that they would have had to replace, and it's all being sent to Ukraine. The US is literally watching Russia lose hundreds of thousands of working-age men, with 0 repercussions to the lives of their own troops.

You're looking at hundreds of thousands of Russians being slaughtered over a futile land grab, and you're patting yourself on the back, whispering, "at least we're beating NATO, this was all worth it, crippling my country for the next 30 years is a sign of our mighty Russian strength!"
Russia has 900,000 active troops. The US has 480,000 and Ukraine has 150,000.
Russia has lost at max 50,000 troops. They are using military equipment that is outdated to get rid of it so they are losing in that sense. Remember Russia is the #2 producer of arms and military equipment in the world. And the only new equipment on the battlefield for them are drones.
Also the sanctions have not made Russia poorer but instead richer. Every month their oil revenues have increased since the war began. They are able to use countries as middle men to get outside goods into the country that they need.

Gee, it's not like Russia was bragging about how they'll totally destroy Ukraine each time they roll in some of their newest "cutting-edge".

Like the time they bragged about how they newest T-14 supertank would change the tides of the war:

Or how US Patriot systems downed Russia's brand new Kinzhal hypersonic missile, unveiled in 2018 and designed to "overcome all existing air defense systems":

Or how Ukraine, a country with no navy, sank Russia's Atlant class Moskva flagship, which Russia claimed was "the most powerful ship in the Black Sea":

Also the sanctions have not made Russia poorer but instead richer. Every month their oil revenues have increased since the war began. They are able to use countries as middle men to get outside goods into the country that they need

Russia's oil revenues briefly increased after the war began by taking advantage of how oil prices fluctuated drastically after Russia's invasion in February 2022, but since sanctions fully kicked in by December 2022, the International Energy Agency estimates Russia's oil revenues have fallen up to 40% off their monthly averages in 2023 (25% in January 2023, 40% in February 2023).

According to the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Russia's GDP, imports, and exports have all been rapidly declining since 2022, with a noticeable decline of 2.1 in their national GDP in 2022.

The European Union, Australia, and other G7 countries have seized $322 billion of the Russian Central Bank's assets, and 70% of the country's assets are sanctioned, meaning Russia will have to pay extremely high premiums to smuggle goods through third-parties like China and Iran. Paying more for the goods you buy is the opposite of "doing well financially".

Don't take my word for it, this information was released by the Council for the European Nation:

Did you think no one would fact check this fanfiction you pulled out of your ass? That might work in Russia, one of the countries with the highest rate of fetal alcohol syndrome in the world, but the rest of the world isn't as gullible.

Nearly 50,000 Russian men have died in the war in Ukraine, according to the first independent statistical analysis of Russia’s war dead.

Two independent Russian media outlets, Mediazona and Meduza, working with a data scientist from Germany’s Tübingen University, used Russian government data to shed light on one of Moscow’s closest-held secrets — the true human cost of its invasion of Ukraine

Russia has publicly acknowledged the deaths of just over 6,000 soldiers.

May 2023:
Russia’s oil exports have bounced back to levels last seen before it invaded Ukraine, despite a barrage of Western sanctions.

Moscow’s exports of crude oil and oil products rose in March to their highest level since April 2020, jumping by 600,000 barrels a day.

November 2023:
Russia's oil and gas revenues in October more than doubled to 1.635 trillion roubles ($17.63 billion) from 739.9 billion roubles in September, finance ministry data showed on Friday, thanks to a cyclical rise in profit-based tax.
The oil and gas sales, which have accounted for more than 28% total Russian budget proceeds so far his year, also rose by 27.5% from October 2022. Russia was the 3rd largest producer of oil in 2022.

So how about you update that BS you are pushing?

So how about you update that BS you pushing?
And US and European countries abandoned over 500 million dollars in goods when they had to leave their businesses in Russia behind.

You conveniently forgot about all the poor fuckers never recovered that are fertilizing the soil, Russia has a shit reputation for recovering their dead, and doesn't have to pay repatriations that way, 70,000 dead sounds about right with 5 times that for wounded, that's what most Militaries work on 5:1 with Ukraine firing 6,000 artillery shells a day on Russian positions you're going to tell us fuck-all Russians are getting killed??? Might be time you got out of the Russian rose garden & grew a brain.

The Russians are firing 18,000 rounds a day. That doesn't mean anything. Even the US admits to the number being less than 50,000. You don't know dick about military campaigns or what purpose artillery shells serve.

The wounded-to-killed ratio for the fighting in Ukraine is expected to be 3-to-1

They don't pay repartitions to the convicts.

70% of the soldiers who are wounded or killed are in battalions with former convicts, military analysts told the Times. A Russian prisoner-turned-soldier says he was brought to the front line without training and told to charge ‘as far as we could go’ into Ukrainian gunfire .

You do realize don't you that if you allow NGO civilians into a war zone you are responsible for their safety??? And if they are captured they WILL tell the Russians everything they've seen, now that'd be a smart move, wouldn't it?

I would believe 18,000 a day, means the Chinese & Nth Korean are coming to the party, though the tunnel they use & a by-pass track were blown up last week, that number may slow, but to say it doesn't mean anything is ludicrous, that number of rounds gives you enough to hit Ukrainian positions along the front AND do area denial missions, the strange thing is that Ukraine hasn't broken & with all that firepower Russia has only made small gains, will be interesting to see what the Russians do when they've blown their load of shells & haven't made much ground, but what would I know, your the expert.

For general patrolling & advance to contact in war zones that is the expected, urban warfare 5:1 is expected (at least) in frontal assaults the dead may outnumber the wounded & Russia has thrown a lot of its soldiers into frontal assaults & doesn't give a fuck, it never has, in all its wars its never given a fuck about it's soldiers, you should speak to some, so after all these frontal assaults Russian soldiers have been through don't expect us to believe there's fuck-all Russian casualties.

Now you'll have us believe all the Russian Battalions are seeded with convicts!!! Unless you have proof Wagner & other Russian PMCs were the only forces that recruited from prisons, your above statement is certainly true for convicts getting shit training & not getting repatriations, but not really what I was talking about, you seem to be trying to twist words, not real flash if you want to be believed.

Ukraine has collected hundreds of dead Russian soldiers and is storing their bodies inside a refrigerated train in order to send them back to their families. They aren't in a war zone.

It's from that top secret leak:
At least one of the documents shows estimates of Russian troops deaths in the Ukraine war that are significantly lower than numbers publicly stated by US officials.

Under a section titled Total Assessed Losses, one document lists 16,000-17,500 Russian casualties and up to 71,000 Ukrainian casualties.

White House National security John Kirby said nearly half those killed since December are Wagner forces, many of them convicts who were released from prison to join Russia’s fight. He said the Wagner forces were “thrown into combat and without sufficient combat or combat training, combat leadership, or any sense of organizational command and control.”

Here it was a daily briefing from the White House:!https://www.c-span.org/video/?527874-1/white-house-daily-briefing

I'm only an expert because my family has been some of the top ranked US military officers over the years.
Russia is doing a war of attrition. At first Russia just wanted the two sections of the country that voted to join the Russian nation but now the west has pissed Putin off so he wants the entire country. The goal of the invasion now is simply to extinguish the Ukrainian nation. This will have enormous repercussions for Western global food stocks and energy supplies. That in turn will create a chain of political consequences in the US and Western capitals. This raises the prospect of impunity for the war crimes committed by Russia. A long war will also provide a grueling test of NATO unity.

Oh really? That was their plan all along, huh. Just two sections of the country, but then bad old NATO pissed Putin off so now he's going to enter a war of attrition with Ukraine to... defeat NATO? What happened to the "3-day special operation"? The mental gymnastics you have to do to convince yourself that Russia is winning by making shit up is mind boggling. If Russia was half the superpower it wanted to be, maybe you wouldn't need to be making up facts and rewriting history.

Ukraine has collected hundreds of dead Russian soldiers and is storing their bodies inside a refrigerated train in order to send them back to their families. They aren't in a war zone.

Ah, yes, naughty Zelensky telling an NGO to 'fuck off' over hundreds of dead Russians in a refrigerated train, you may not have noticed. Russia is destroying Ukraine's power stations, don't know why he'd use electricity to keep dead Russians refrigerated while his people freeze from lack of power.
OOOOOOH, a top-secret leak!!! Your throwing up information that's over a year old, wake up, that link you put up has absolutely Nothing about casualty figures, so you have to put up & makeup bullshit, very sad, more twisted words.

Funny. You provide no evidence of me making up facts or rewriting history. Instead you make the claim and throw in the words mental gymnastics as if that actually means something. And I never said Russia was a superpower. The only thing mind boggling here is the amount of stupid sandwiches you eat on the daily.

Because they have 15 nuclear reactors and Ukraine still controls 9 of them. That's how they would use power to refrigerate. A year old? This took place in April of 2023. And no matter when it took place it proves the western governments have been inflating the numbers by around 500%. https://apnews.com/article/russia-ukraine-war-military-deaths-facd75c2311ed7be660342698cf6a409
