movies Movies that will never be redone, Right

So I think back at all the cool World War 2 movies I saw as a kid. Keely's Heroes was my favorite. Many of the actors were veterans or simply great at what they did.

Do you ever think we will see movies like this again?

Yes and no - yes we'll always see some director's idea of a remake but no because the actors that were perfect for the original parts are all dead or will soon be dead. The remake of such epics are usually not worth shitting on (look at Ben Hur)

Would like to see a remake of Logan's run. With today's special effects, would be awesome 👌

Would add, "the warriors" to the list also. Not WWII but still.. 🤔
Remaking The Warriors would be career suicide for anyone in it. Its impossible to remake cult classics. That spark that makes them special is unique to the original cast and production, and many of the scenes are too iconic just as they are.

Look at the trash that was the remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Some things just can't be remade.

Not sure about that. sure, there are classics and cult favorites take Dune, new version is better than the original. 🤫 Magnificent 7, new Netflix remake of that "Rebel moon" looks awesome.
Guess as always, it's a wait and see. Let's hope, 😊

I meant to say that the type and less diverse/queer/woke movies and movie stars are long gone. Someone said Tom Cruise is the last real Movie Action Star and I have to agree the man does his own stunts and practices the art. You can find flaws of course as you can say with Keanu Reeves but really these Men were, true Men.

The only unwoke movie out there right now is Godzilla Minus 1
I find that funny but then it is a period movie and in Japan after WW2.

Dune has been remade 4 times and the original is a dumpster fire. I don't know that the first iteration qualifies as a cult classic.

Well, to be honest there was 1 movie with spin offs so 🤷 I won't count those.
I'm comparing the 1984 version to the 2021 version.
Anxious to see part 2 to complete the comparison 😬
