I don’t see this ending well for Gimbel, the security guard. While a private citizen may have the right to reasonably defend themselves against a threat, Gimbel was working for an armed security company without having the proper license to be armed. He also initially demanded that they leave the parking lot but for some reason placed himself in front of the vehicle. While the driver is a fucking asshole and moron (who has been trespassed multiple times for taking pallets to resell them,) Gimbel should have let the real authorities deal with them. This will likely end up with a guilty manslaughter verdict or plea agreement and some sort of payout for the wife. Currently Gimbel has been indicted on 2nd degree murder.
