don’t do this - look at the eclipse with binoculars while wearing solar eclipse glasses. You will literally burn a hole through the eclipse glasses and a hole into your eyeball.
They sell cheap, approved disposable eclipse viewing glasses on Amazon. Anyone foolish enough to deviate from approved viewing methods deserves blindness.
