I agree. That's why they call them "Snapping Turtles". They'll snap at anything within reach that's fkn with them.
Cut their heads off and they can still snap their jaws shut, even after several minutes.

That is an alligator snapping turtle, their bite is in the top 5 bite forces of any animal in the world. This one is a small one, when I was in 6th grade my friend caught one that was almost three feet in diameter.

That's an alligator snapping turtle, and it's a little one. Their necks can and will stretch all the way round to their tail and they are strong. IF you decide to mess with one, don't. But if... you hold them by the shell right behind their head and the other hand holding the shell just above the tail.
