On November 27, in the morning in the Verkhneuslonsky district, on a section of the M12 highway under construction near the village of Grebeny, an excavator, through negligence, hit a 54-year-old worker to death with a bucket. This was announced by Andrey Sheptytsky, senior assistant to the head of the Investigative Committee of the TFR for the Republic of Tatarstan.

According to investigators, the 65-year-old excavator operator, through negligence, set the bucket in motion and hit a worker with it, who at that moment was carrying out refueling work. As a result, the man died at the scene from his injuries.

On this fact, a criminal case was initiated under the article "Causing death by negligence." All the circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
