A white couple from Clarkston, Michigan, was arrested and charged with a felony after a video showed the woman pointing a gun at a Black mother and her two daughters. Jillian Wuestenberg, 32, and Eric Wuestenberg, 42, were taken into custody on Wednesday, the same day they got into an altercation with the family at a Chipotle in Orion Township.

Yall gotta be kidding me with these comments. I hope the two of them get what they deserve.

They tried to leave before all that escalated and the family got in the way when they were backing out.

In Texas, if you tried to do this, it would not end well for you.

People get shot here for these type of shenanigans. Trying to stop someone from leaving because you "think" they bumped you.

Ridiculous.

The mistake these white folks made was pulling out their weapons when there was no threat of death. You only pull out if you intend to shoot.

What point are you trying to make? Unjustifiable use of a firearm over a petty parking lot dispute. I've also smacked the back of someone's car with my hand when they almost hit me. There WAS in fact an altercation, no one pulled a gun on me, because I'm white.

The point is, being black doesn't mean you have the right to start an altercation and expect someone to sit there and engage with you.

If that had happened to me, I would have simply left. If you see me backing up to leave and decide to sit there in my path, then you get what you get.

Your rights stop where mine begin and race has nothing to do with it. I live in a military community. Not only would you never see that here, but if someone tried to pull that stunt it would backfire on them.

People out here don't do the BS that some of you tolerate in the liberal areas. There are too many people out here with guns and little patience for liberals.

Are you getting my point?

They didn't decide to sit there. There weren't looking while backing out and almost hit them.

Whatever u think happened doesn't justify pulling a gun.

They escalated the situation after the woman did not apologize for allegedly bumping into the girl as both parties were passing each other. What they did leading up to the woman pulling her gun, following and loudly 'demanding' an apology was also unjustified. That's just obnoxious bullshit.

Both parties overreacted.

Pulling a gun on someone isn't even in the same ball park. An entirely disproportionate response. There is no comparison.

I wasn't making a comparison or justifying anyone's actions. My point is the whole situation could have been avoided had the black girls not escalated it. Their response was disproportionate for what was possibly nothing more than an accidental bump in passing as the two parties were entering and exiting the building.
