According to Dutch experts your chances of getting Cancer have gone from 1 in 3 to 1 in 2 so pretty much everyone in your family is going to get it.

My mother has had it twice, father-in-law has it atm, I've got a suspect mole on my head, sister has had it etc etc

We are living much longer now because of better medical care and nutrition. I believe the long lives most of us enjoy in modern times is far past normal human longevity.

I don't know about that, when I was growing up it was very rare to hear of childhood cancer and I believe it is much more common now.
