The reason why I vote Democrats, is because Democrats, at least at the local level, have proven they're willing to move in that direction. All the states that allow local Ranked Choice, are Democrat states. Two states actually have state-wide ranked choice: Maine and Alaska. Well, presidents DO make decisions. It's just that far too many people way overblow the impact those decisions have on everything in general. Congress still has to approve of most of what the president decides.

Also, the reason the best presidents are either lawyers, economists (NOT "businessmen,") or military commanders, is because the three major aspects of their job are:

1) Commander-in-chief.
2) Chief executive (knowing Constitutional law really helps!)
3) Proposing four (or 8) annual budgets and tax rates to Congress.

Post-Eisenhower, Democrat presidents tend to be lawyers and economists.

Republikkkunt presidents tend to be movie actors and goofy-ass reality television stars who inherited their real-estate business from DADDY and was given "only a million-dollar *LOAN*" (with no interest rate and no obligation to pay it back. 😆 )
