America has a low population density, so I believe that the problem is not the number of immigrants who enter every day, but rather the social problems that may arise from this. When a state fails its citizens it won't be much different in relation to the integration of these immigrants. And that's the fear of the "native" populations. Same is happening all over Europe, Canada and Australia.
Borders aren't a bar in a happy hour, control is needed, not only for the good management of the situation but also to be able to provide the well-being of the immigrants and the citizens.

Immigration would be ok if the people coming in were employable, could support themselves, that the host countries had the infrastructure and housing to accommodate them and that the immigrants themselves did not bring their problems with them.
In Aus, we have had waves of immigration.
Us first. We ethnically cleansed the abos and got high quality farming happening. We opened up the land, developed merino sheep, got cattle going, brought in horses, introduced deer and trout and generally got a shit load more done in 250 years than the abos did in 40 000 or so. (invented digging stick, hollow log music, boomerang and an eel trap)
The post ww2 lots of Italians. Layed lots of concrete, gave us spagetti, hot women, wog accents and big hair. Hard workers, blended in well. Good people.
Vietnam war gave us hard working viets. Great food, hot chicks (If you like Asian women. I don't really, not ugly but I prefer beefy Caucasian chicks who are strong on plough.)
Croatia: Slavs and Bosniaks all hell bent on fighting each other, especially over soccer games which we Aussies do not really play and do not understand.
Muslims from Turkey. Gave us good food options, lots of lamb and goat (to eat, unlike later arrivals), worked hard, sexy women with dark eyes and olive skin. Men a little bit intimidating and a bit too useful with a knife for my liking, but reasonable. They might cut off a sheeps head in the suburbs but only to butcher it and cook it up into something quite nice.
And then the muslims from everywhere else: they brought us ghettos, shit food all based on chick peas, jihad in the fucking streets, stabbings whilst shouting out Alah Akbar, the cut sheeps heads off everywhere but only after fucking them and the goats, but prefer cutting off human heads. No idea what their women look like as they are all covered up so you can't even see their eyes. The men are not only great with knives but show off about it on line with ISIS type stuff, they have short hair and big beards, look ugly as sin and preach hate.
African muslims: all black as the ace of spades, 7 feet tall, specialise in home invasions and car jackings. it's a cultural thing.
So as you can see, Australia has a very good cross section of the worlds races all working together in perfect harmony like a Swiss watch.
Not enough housing, not enough hospital beds, radical socialist government wanting more and more migrants, and so lovely they have just invited 800 from Gaza who, I'm sure, will be ever so grateful that they will only slice the throats of infidels...

To be fair, though, our debt is pretty easily serviced. Our taxes are stupidly low. We raise taxes back to the pre-Bush days, and the cash flow into the federal government would be like opening the flood gates.
The trade imbalance is actually a GOOD thing, as it means our companies are still expanding. The government just has GOT to cut back on government spending, and instead, step in and stop the dumbass red states from banning books in school libraries and forcing them to actually fucking TEACH kids. Using some of that extra cash to invest in schools and especially teachers. Schools need an actual budget so they can somewhat compete with private industry for recruiting actual talented and knowledgeable individuals.
You Do realize that Biden/Harris have been in office for 2 years, and only have two years left to go if they don't get reelected, right? Nothing you've said has even come close to fruition. And that's where you retarded bullshitters are always fucking wrong:
The POTUS doesn't have all these huge magical powers to control every damn thing under the sun! The only thing he can do, is to propose new bills and budgets to Congress, veto shit or write shit into law once Congress approves, command the military (which he also has limited control over, considering he has to ask Congress for permission within 90 days), and is the head diplomat. He can't even sign treaties into law. Again, that's Congress 's job.
The POTUS is ALSO not above the law, despite what all these dumbass Trump-humpers will have you believe.
I'll tell you why I support the Democrats. On reason, and one reason only:
Their willingness to dump the stupid fucking Electoral College, and institute a Ranked Choice voting system. That's literally the only fucking thing that actually matters at this point, and I'll tell you why:
Trees, cows, and corn stalks don't vote. People do. Fuck the Replikkkunts who think they should have a huge advantage in voting power, just based on their thinly spread population demographics among a shit load of state, and Democrats all huddled in a few huge cities. That's the first thing.
The second thing is, a ranked choice voting system will break up this dumbass duopoly political system that controls our government back and forth. Give us some REAL fucking choices, because I'm tired of these dumbass 80 year old white guys who make decisions for younger people, when they're not the ones that have to live with it for the next 50 years.
A larger variety of political parties that actually have a real shot at winning national elections, will also more fairly draw districting borders every ten years to decide representation in the House of Representatives. As it stands, Democrats and republikkkunts get to draw their OWN districts, which is entirely fucked.
The reason why I vote Democrats, is because Democrats, at least at the local level, have proven they're willing to move in that direction. All the states that allow local Ranked Choice, are Democrat states. Two states actually have state-wide ranked choice: Maine and Alaska. Whereas, states that actually BAN ranked choice (like the dirty fucking fascists they are!) Are deeply red states: Florida, Montana, Wyoming, and a couple of others.
400 years of history on this continent proves you overwhelmingly wrong. The United States has largely had unfettered immigration from the founding of the first colonies in Massachusetts, to the first actual immigration laws in the late 19th century. Immigration to our shores has been a boon to building this country into what it is today. Course, the Native Americans might have a thing or two to say about that.
