music Baby metal

I'm sorry you had to go through that. Sincerely. That sounds torturous...and embarrassing. I got second-hand embarrassment just reading your post; not to mention second-hand shame for belonging to the same demographic you described as being in attendance. Fuck this world. 😢

I had the unfortunate pleasure of taking my daughter to a concert because all her mates cancelled on her.

Group was called baby metal, it's 3 twenty something Japanese girls doing karate moves to heavy metal.

What staggered me the most was 80% men aged between 30-50 turning up and doing their mosh pit shit to this garbage.

Fuck me heavy metal has changed since the 80's!

I would think a Kawaii metal/j-pop metal concert would be disappointing to a metal head from the 1980's.

Maybe some Pantera Walk will expedite your recovery.

If it's the same people in the group they'd be much older now but my daughter was into them a bunch of years ago and the band was basically made up of little girls (hence the name Baby Metal) and they were pretty cool actually. They toured Melbourne about eight years ago. (oh yeah quick edit ... was half full of pedophiles and the other half was Dads protecting their daughters from the pedophiles LOL :lulz: )

In fairness the original singers, if you want to call them that, were 17 and two 15 year olds, but now I am pretty sure their all in the mid to late 20s. The heavy metal side of it is still decent, but fusing their japanese pop singing and lyrics, just doesnt work for me. I've seen them, went to a summer rock festival and saw several different bands that weekend. They were definitely not the highlight.
